Tasty Tuesday Recipe of the week: Perfect No-Cook Strawberry Ice Cream
I made this! The recipe says you don’t need an ice cream maker but I was borrowing my mom’s KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachment so figured I’d try it with that. After this part in the recipe, “Return strawberry cream to bowl with remaining strawberries…”, I used the KitchenAid ice cream maker video instructions for the rest. So I put the ice cream maker bowl (which had been in my freezer for at least 12 – 15 hours prior) into my KitchenAid Mixer, turned it onto “stir” first (a VERY IMPORTANT step!) and then added all the ice cream batter and let it mix for 20 – 30 minutes. Then I scooped the ice cream out into a big Tupperware container, closed the lid on tight, and stuck it in the freezer for at least 4 hours before trying it.
Once we did get our spoons out for a taste, I was really surprised with how delicious it was! So creamy and flavorful!
I’ll definitely make this again sometime!
