Hey there! This is the place you can find all the posts where I share about our son and autism. (Links below)

As you read through our journey, keep in mind there are many families who have children “on the spectrum” but all children are unique.  My child and another’s child may both “have autism” but our situations can still be drastically different.

Once you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism.

Since I’m still “new” to this autism world and have a hard time keeping up with the always-changing politically correct terms, I hope I don’t say anything that may offend others. Forgive me if I do.

Lastly, I seek and welcome support and encouragement and resources but I’m not looking for a “cure” or a “magic pill”…or any “second opinions”.  Thank you to all who’ve commented, online and in person, about the posts I’ve shared about our son and autism. Before I decided to share our story here, I honestly felt scared. I wasn’t sure how people would respond or how it might change relationships for my son or our family. However, once I opened gates to my vulnerable heart, a flood of love, support, and encouragement rushed in.  Thank you.
