Tasty Tuesday Recipe of the week: Perfect No-Cook Strawberry Ice Cream
I made this! The recipe says you don’t need an ice cream maker but I was borrowing my mom’s KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachment so figured I’d try it with that. After this part in the recipe, “Return strawberry cream to bowl with remaining strawberries…”, I used the KitchenAid ice cream maker video instructions for the rest. So I put the ice cream maker bowl (which had been in my freezer for at least 12 – 15 hours prior) into my KitchenAid Mixer , turned it onto “stir” first (a VERY IMPORTANT step!) and then added all the ice cream batter and let it mix for 20 – 30 minutes. Then I scooped the ice cream out into a big Tupperware container, closed the lid on tight, and stuck it in the freezer for at least 4 hours before trying it.
Once we did get our spoons out for a taste, I was really surprised with how delicious it was! So creamy and flavorful!
I’ll definitely make this again sometime!
We made this last night!!!!!! It was FANTASTIC!
Isn’t it still great??!! Did you use an ice cream maker?
