It’s Day Three of the Three Things I’m Grateful For Exercise for Thanksgiving week.

I’d love for you to join me! I started on Sunday but feel free to jump in now or anytime. See here for the simple three-step instructions for joining in Three Things I’m Grateful For Exercise.

Here are my Three Things I’m Grateful For Today {Day Three}

1. Time with my sister, I hate to think that she’ll graduate soon and go off on her own so I’m very grateful for the time we get together.

2. Hanging out and chatting about life with friends – both new friends from my CatholicMom.com CMHangout world and “old” friends who I’ve walked many miles with along this great journey of life. Good friends are such a precious treasure.

3. A simple hand offered to me to bring me a little comfort with a hard thing going on in my family right now.

Today, as I thought of my Three Things, I realized most of what I’m thankful for usually revolves not around things but around people and the precious moments we share together. I love people. I love my family, my friends, my neighbors and the random people I see here and there that bring joy into my life.

True, other people can sometimes bring pain and suffering, but it is also through others that we can experience joy, generosity and kindness. Whenever I’m down or just going through a difficult time in life, I know I can turn to my family and friends to support me, pray for me, and make me laugh even when I can’t remember how. I value the time I have with these good people in my life.

What Three Things are you grateful for?

Feel free to share them in the comments, on your own blog (and link back here!), the Simplemama Facebook page, Twitter (#Grateful or #ThreeThingsImGrateful4), or maybe you can just share it with your spouse or family during prayer.
