Ok, ok I’ll relent and admit it’s not summer or spring anymore and allow myself to finally start thinking of decorating the house for fall. Before I do it in real life, I’ll snoop around Pinterest for ideas. Here are five of my favorite ideas I’ve found so far that might bee simple enough even for me:

DIY Pottery Barn Inspired Fall Decor – a fun way to use all the acorns we collect on our nature walks. I could possibly do something similar with our pine cones and leaves.

22 Pumpkin Carving Templates – I haven’t carved a pumpkin in so long, maybe I’ll give it a go with one of these templates this year!
~ 3 ~
Caterpillar Painted Pumpkins – of all the creative painted pumpkin ideas, I think this is the cutest and most original.
~ 4~
Pumpkin Power – use your pumpkin as a vase.
~ 5 ~
Use silica gel packets to keep pumpkins from molding. I learn something new every day.

These are great ideas…though I have to admit, I don’t believe there is any seasonal decor idea simple enough for me. Does it require me to move my arms or walk?…then I will have to pass on it 😉
