this is an incredibly cool picture! I’ve pictured this moment in my mind many times but it always seems to be very much like a stone prison visitor, I like how this makes it feel more home-y. the perspective of a visitor in her personal space while in her pj’s really humanizes it even more.
I love the way you put that Michelle. All the other Annunciation images in art seem too elaborate. I, too often wonder what it really looked like and this artist chimes close too how I’ve imagined it.
